It’s official. The Mississippi Sea Wolves will be remaining in Biloxi for the 2025-26 FPHL season.

The team announced on their social media accounts Monday afternoon, with a picture of the lease agreement.

Chris Bryniarski was listed as the managing member of the team, and representing Gulf Shore Hockey LLC, the team’s new ownership group.

Bryniarski is involved in ownership with a couple other FPHL teams including Blue Ridge.

The Sea Wolves have only ten wins in 54 games so far this season. But they are positive that they can become contenders in 2025-26, something the team has rarely done in three seasons.

Attendance wise, with all of the uncertainty and craziness, the numbers are down this year. After 28 games, the team averaged 2,166 fans per game. Seventh in the league.

With a full off-season and a revamped front office, the team will work hard to get that number up.

As for the on-ice product. It’s unclear if Rich Parent will be back. He’s built a solid core, and a team that has been playing better as of late. But with a couple players (Stoia, Bartlett) leaving the team. It’s logical to ask who will run things from a hockey perspective.

Biloxi has been a market that the Fed coveted back in 2021, and were able to have success in the neutral site games. While things have been a rollercoaster, this is a very good sign for the city, franchise, fans, and arena.
