Danbury 2, Binghamton 6

In a night where Jason Spezza was honored among others, the Black Bears got behind early off of a Josh Newberg goal (in his 300th pro game) but took the lead and never looked back. Jesse Anderson with two goals, three assists for Austin Thompson.

Motor City 1, Port Huron 2 (F/SO)

Prowlers lock up the three seed and will face off with Danbury. Reggie Millette with the shootout winner. Ricardo Gonzalez makes 48 saves in goal for the Rockers.

Venom 4, Watertown 3

The Venom were up early, got behind but were able to come back and take it in the shootout. Connor Craig with the shootout winner. Both Bouchard and Sharma make 31 saves in goal.

Dashers 3, Blue Ridge 5

The Dashers got out to an early 2-0 lead, but in the second the Bobcats came out with a vengeance. Carson Andreoli with two goals, and the insurance from Mike Mercurio. Parker Rutherford makes SEVENTY TWO SAVES.

Athens 1, Columbus 3

Good defensive game in what will be a first round series now. Kyle Moore with two goals. 32 saves for William Lavalliere in the loss for Athens. Athens will play Columbus in Round 1.

Carolina 4, Monroe 3 (F/SO)

Huge shootout win for the Thunderbirds who grab the top seed in the Continental. Two goals for Monroe’s Blake Anderson. Two for Carolina’s Dawson Baker. Kraemer and Panacek with the two shootout goals.

Mississippi 2, Baton Rouge 7

Zydeco will need a win tomorrow and a Blue Ridge loss to get home ice against the Bobcats for Tuesday. Three point games for Wilson and Shorrock, two goals for Aleksanyan.
